Our Volunteers Make the Difference

Join the team at climate change! Whether you can help us with work on a specific campaign, or help manage things in our office day-to-day, you can contribute by volunteering.

We’ll aim to match you with a role that excites you and makes the most of your skills, while giving you an opportunity to learn something new.

Volunteer Roles

We offer a range of remote and in-person opportunities. Research volunteers help compile data on Alberta’s energy landscape. Community science volunteers conduct bee counts in Edmonton’s green spaces. Outreach volunteers speak at events or host information tables. Translation volunteers convert materials into French, Spanish, or Tagalog. Technical volunteers assist with website updates.

Time Commitment and How to Apply

Most roles require 3–5 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of three months. We provide training and ongoing support. To apply, send a brief email to telling us your skills, interests, and availability. We’ll set up an informal chat to match you with a role that fits. No resume needed—just enthusiasm.
